    WHY THIS EXISTS

Around 2002 I listened to almost nothing but A.R. Rahman. A composer told me: go and hear everything else. Death rock. Metal. Rap. Trip hop. Ambient. It changed how I hear music.

Most apps give you more of what you already like. This one does the opposite.

Type one artist you are stuck on. You get nine artists from the other side of the world, one from every continent, chosen to sound nothing like them.

Don't skim. Pick one. Listen. Stay with it. When you are ready, spin again. You never get the same artist twice.

Picks come from about 3,300 lesser-known artists, using MusicBrainz and ListenBrainz data. Previews are 30 seconds from Apple. Press i again to close.
